Rachel’s psychology practice works with children, adolescents, families, and adult clients.

Psychological Therapy

Rachel works with each client to choose the best approach based on their presentation and history. Rachel’s approach to therapy is strongly informed by attachment theory, family systems models and the neuroscience of trauma. Rachel has advanced training in EMDR therapy and is a member of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA). Rachel uses the following range of therapeutic models in her work with individuals and families:

  • Internal Family Systems

Supervision

Rachel is a board-approved supervisor with a special interest in supervising early career psychologists working with children and young people. Rachel’s experience as a school psychologist, in a range of school settings, makes her uniquely placed to provide support to school psychologists.

Rachel also provides supervision to psychologists working with populations impacted by trauma, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children in out-of-home care and families involved with DCJ. Rachel welcomes provisional psychologists undertaking the 5+1 pathway. She also welcomes Allied Health professionals and creative therapists working in mental health. Supervision is offered in person at Roseville or online.
